Some rehearsal snaps of Sipho Mabuse from the studio for the show at Emperors Palace on Sunday 15 July 2012

We busy preparing the set for show at Emperors Palace for Sunday 15th July from 13H00.

The show is called Acoustic Tales on the Lawn at Emperors Palace

Sipho mentioned that audience members will get to hear all my hits including a song that has been very good to me called “Burnout” as well as a few surprises as well, that you might not have heard before , as these songs lend themselves to an intimate almost unplugged performance .

The band I am using is a 6 piece:

Bernice Bokanyo – drums.
Toto Mbele – keyboards.
Lungi Naidoo – supporting vocals
Thando Mashaba – guitar .
Bradley Maponya -upright bass

I will be having a conversation with the audience so this will be a really special intimate performance ,at an amazing venue and great setting remarked Sipho.

I have structured the set that each song has a story to it ,so guests will get to hear the history behind some of my music.

Guests will enjoy a lazy afternoon basking in the sun and listening to soothing jazz, infused with African instruments, to create a unique electric ensemble.

Tickets are R385 per person and include a sumptuous buffet lunch at Aurelia’s restaurant.

Make the afternoon extra special and book a Sunday Sleep-Over at any of the 4 hotels for only R200 per room.

For Aurelia’s bookings, contact Christine Hlatshwayo on 011 928 1908 or Central Reservations on 0860 777 900 for room bookings.
